The Kansha History Project is honored to have youth volunteer Ellen Kim, who helps us document the farms and lives of Japanese American farmers, including 340 from Santa Clara County, who lost their homes and livelihoods when they were unjustly incarcerated during World War II. Her careful, thoughtful volunteer work is breathing new life into this shared and often, unspoken, history.
