SUBJECT:SUPPLIES AND SERVICE CONTRACTS AWARDED BY THE
CITY MANAGER, APRIL THROUGH JUNE 2000
This is an informational report and no Council action is required.
DISCUSSION
The Palo Alto Municipal Code (PAMC) authorizes the City Manager to award contracts
for the purchase of supplies (materials and equipment), regardless of the dollar amount.
The PAMC authorizes the City Manager to award contracts for services up to $65,000.
Quarterly reports are required for supply contracts awarded by the City Manager over
$65,000, and for service contracts awarded from $25,000 to $65,000.
The attached report lists supply contracts over $65,000 (Attachment A) and service
contracts from $25,000 to $65,000 (Attachment B) awarded from April through June
2000. Attachment C provides blanket order supply contracts over $65,000 and service
contracts from $25,000 to $65,000 awarded between April and June 2000. (Blanke{
orders are service or material contracts established for multiple purchases with a specific
vendor for a spe’cified length of time and dollar amount.)
