SUBJECT:REQUEST FOR A DEMOLITION PERMIT FOR A RESIDENCE
LOCATED AT 364 KINGSLEY AVENUE
This is an informational item required by Section 16.49~070 of the Palo Alto Municipal
Code (PAMC) and no Council action is required.
BACKGROUND
The residence located at 364 Kingsley Avenue is in the Professorville Historic District.
On June 8, 2000, the City received a demolition permit application for this residence.
The PANIC requires the demolition application be referred to the Historic Resources
Board (HRB) for review and possible recommendation to the Council. There is an
automatic sixty-day moratorium on issuance of the demolition permit. Upon
recommendation of the HRB or any interested person, the Council may extend the
moratorium for up to one year. The.application will be reviewed by the HRB on July 19,
2000.
RESOURCE IMPACT
There is no fiscal impact related to this report.
ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW
The application for demolition is not a project as defined by the Califomia Environmental
Quality Act.

The Municipal Code requires protection of specified trees located on private and public property, and that
¯ ttiey be shown on approved site plans. Appliea.tions for building permits that include exterior work and all
demolition or grading permit applications must be accompanied by this disclosure statement. Please check
the appropriate answers, sign and date the document.
Location of trees larger than 4 inches in diameter must be shown on the plans:

provided to .the Building Department verifying that protective fencing for the trees is in place before

Arborist. (*Protected Oaks are 11.5 inches ix{ diameter or larger, when measured 54 inches above natural
grade),
I understand that knowingly or negligently providing false or misleading information in response to this
disclosure requirement constitutes a violation of the Pale Alto Municipal Code Section 8..10.040, which can
lead to criminal and/or civil legal action.
