INFORMATION REGARDING COUNCIL INQUIRY INTO THE
POTENTIAL PURCHASE OF THE 13.25 ACRE VACANT LAND AT 1525
ARASTRADERO ROAD COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE BRESSLER
PROPERTY.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Council direct staff regarding the potential purchase of the 13.25-acre
vacant land at 1525 Ar~astradero Road.
BACKGROUND
On February 15, 2000 Council directed staff to secure a current appraisal for the Bressler property
and to return to Council as soon as possible to seek Council direction with respect to the possible
acquisition of the property.
DISCUSSION
A draft copy of the appraisal is now available, to aid in further discussion of this matter. If Council
wishes to instruct staff on negotiation instructions, Council should conduct a closed session for that
purpose. Staff has agendized a closed session to be used if needed.
