Background This item was originally heard by the City Council on June 10, 2013. At that meeting, the Council received the staff report, opened the public hearing and received testimony from over 60 members of the public. After receiving public testimony, the Mayor and Council closed the City of Palo Alto Page 2 public hearing and due to the late hour continued the item to June 13, 2013 for Council deliberation. No new information has been distributed to the Council for consideration since that time. Additional public testimony is not expected to be taken on June 13, 2013, however Council discussion will occur and a decision could potentially be made.
