LAW ENFORCEMENT RECORDS AND SUPPORT PERSONNEL DAY
NOVEMBER 8, 2016
WHEREAS, law enforcement agencies throughout the State depend upon law enforcement
records and support personnel to provide them with vital services; and
WHEREAS, law enforcement records and support personnel are crucial to helping law
enforcement agencies identify, pursue, capture and process suspected law breakers; and
WHEREAS, these professionals continually use their expertise and experience to assist in
tracking felons, maintaining criminal statistics and improving apprehension strategies; and
WHEREAS, the California Law Enforcement Association of Records Supervisors will hold
its 43rd annual Training and Technology Conference on November 14-18, 2016; and
WHEREAS, it is important to recognize the City of Palo Alto’s law enforcement records
and support personnel for their valuable contributions to our law enforcement system.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, PATRICK BURT, Mayor of the City of Palo Alto, on behalf of
the City Council do hereby proclaim November 8, 2016 as “Law Enforcement Records and
Support Personnel Day.”
