Staff recommends that the City Council continue this item to the March 18, 2013 hearing.
Staff will return in March with a single report with options for allocating resources with respect
to a broader downtown “visioning” including the 27 University Avenue concept. On December
3, 2012, City Council directed staff to return with process and outreach plan options regarding
the site concepts. Staff is developing additional options and process approaches, and is
preparing cost estimates for consultant work. The concepts, approaches and estimates will be
provided to Council at the March 18 meeting.
