TO:HONORABLE CITY COUNCIL FROM:CITY MANAGER DEPARTMENT: ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES DATE:DECEMBER 16, 2002 CMR: 468:02 SUBJECT:PROPERTY AGREEMENTS ENTERED INTO BY CITY MANAGER UNDER PALO ALTOMUNICIPAL CODE SECTION 2.30.040(C), FISCAL YEAR 2001-02 This is an informational report and no Council action is required. DISCUSSION Palo Alto Municipal Code (PAMC) Section 2.30.040 authorizes the City Manager to enter into ageements for use of property or purchase of property where the term of any ageement for use of property is one year or less, or the City’s expenditures do not exceed $65,000. The PAMF also authorizes the City Manager to enter into lease or rental ageements with third parties at the Cubberiey site for terms not in excess of five years. The PAMC requires a written report of all such agreements be made annually by the City Manager to the City Council. The attached report transmits the information required by the PAMC.
