REDEVELOPMENT 2002 ANNUAL
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the date of the Palo Alto Redevelopment Agency Annual Meeting
be changed from January 28, 2002 to March 4, 2002.
BACKGROUND
On January 7, 2002, the Redevelopment Agency Annual Meeting was continued to
January 28, 2002. The Agency’s procedures (pursuant to the Brown Act) require an
annual meeting.
DISCUSSION
Staff recommends~that the date of the Palo Alto Redevelopment Agency Annual Meeting
be changed from January 28, 2002 to March 4, 2002. This change is being recommended
because several other items will also be considered for the March 4, 2002 Redevelopment
Agency meeting.
These items include:
¯Approval for circulation and review of Redevelopment Plan for the Edgewood Project
Area
¯Approval for circulation and review of Preliminary Report for the Edgewood Project
Area
¯Approval for circulation and review of Draft Environmental Impact Report for the
Edgewood Project Area

The change of date will provide continuity in the presentation of items and allow City
Council, acting as the Redevelopment Agency, to convene only one meeting rather than
the two that are currently scheduled.
