FROM:CITY MANAGER DEPARTMENT:CITY MANAGER’S
OFFICE
DATE:DECEMBER 8, 2003 CMR: 549:03
SUBJECT: TOP 5 QUARTERLY REPORT
This is an informational report and no Council action is required.
DISCUSSION
Attached is the quarterly report on the status of the Council’s Top 5 Priorities. The format
of the report identifies the milestones for each priority and lists the progress of each
milestone.
The current report reflects the work completed on reportable milestones that occurred
between July 2003 and September 2003.
In addition, staff has included a quarterly update on the status of citywide infrastructure
projects. The attached CityWorks Project Snapshot Charts are a new reporting device that
will allow the reader to easily scan all Infrastructure Management Projects that began,
were completed or are continuing in the specified reporting period. The projects are
broken out by IMP module, and include Buildings and Facilities, Streets and Sidewalks,
and Parks and Open Space. This report will accompany future Top 5 quarterly reports.
The charts are fairly self-explanatory and show:
¯CIP number and title of the project being tracked
¯Projects funded within the CIP (below CIP title and in gray)
¯A bar chart that show project progress from pre-design to post construction
¯Significant dates and funding amounts
