City Council Seeking Public Input for The 2013 City Council Priorities
The City Council is preparing for their annual retreat to be held in January
2013 where they will consider setting the priorities for 2013. The Council is
seeking community input on suggestions for these priorities which set the
focus for the year.
The current priorities for 2012 are:
1. City Finances
2. Land Use & Transportation Planning
3. Emergency Preparedness
4. Environmental Sustainability
5. Community Collaboration for Youth Well Being
On October 1, 2012, the City Council approved the definition of a Council
Priority as “A Council Priority is defined as a topic that will receive particular,
unusual and significant attention during the year.”
Please send your suggestions for the Council priorities for 2013 to the City
Clerk at donna.grider@cityofpaloalto.org no later than Friday, November 30,
2012.
