Request City Council Designate Voting Delegate for the Upcoming
National League of Cities Annual Business Meeting
The City Council should designate Council Member Larry Klein as the voting
delegate for the 2012 National League of Cities (NLC) Conference.
BACKGROUND
The League’s 2012 Annual Business Meeting will be held on Saturday, December
1, 2012 in Boston, Massachusetts at the conclusion of the Congress of Cities And
Exposition. To be eligible to cast the city’s vote, a voting delegate must be
officially designated by the City. As a direct member city, we are entitled to two
(2) votes at this meeting. Council Member Klein will be attending the Congress of
Cities and Exposition and should be designated as the voting delegate. Attached
please find correspondence received from the National League of Cities.
