MEETING DATE CHANGE
REDEVELOPMENT ANNUAL~
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the date of the Palo Alto Redevelopment Agency Annual Meeting
be changed from January 6, 2003 to a time yet uncertain.
BACKGROUND
The Palo Alto Redevelopment Agency By laws designate the first City Council Meeting
each year as thetime for the Annual Redevelopment Agency Meeting.
DISCUSSION
Staff recommends that the date of the Palo Alto Redevelopment Agency Annual Meeting
be changed from January 6, 2003 to the next City Council Meeting in 2003 at which the
Redevelopment Agency convenes. This change is being reconamended because several
other items will also be considered for a Redevelopment Agency meeting anticipated in
2003.
These items include:
,Setting the Joint Public Hearing on the Final Environmental Impact Report for the
Edgewood Project Area
Receipt of and acceptance of the Report to City Council for the Edgewood Project
Area
, Adoption of the Redevelopment Plan for the Edgewood Project Area

The change of date will provide continuity in the presentation of items and allow City
Council, acting as the Redevelopment Agency, to convene only one meeting rather than
two meetings to review and act on Redevelopment items.
