ELECTION OFFICERS NEEDED
TO STAFF THE POLLS
The Santa Clara County Registrar of Voters needs help at the polls for the
Gubernatorial General Election on November 4, 2014. This is a great way to
be a part of the democratic process, serve your community, and make money
for yourself or your favorite organization. Experience not necessary! Paid
training is provided.
There is also a critical need for Election Officers who are bilingual in
English and Chinese, Hindi, Japanese, Khmer, Korean, Spanish, Tagalog or
Vietnamese. Volunteers receive $95-$180 paid stipends and Bilingual
Election Officers are paid an additional $5.00.
You must be 18 years or older, a U.S. citizen and a registered voter of the
State of California; or a legal permanent resident; or a high school student,
16 years or older, with at least a 2.5 GPA and approval from your parents
and your school administration.
