Interviews of Candidates for the Library Advisory Commission, Public
Art Commission, and Human Relations Commission
A total of 14 applications were received for the open positions on the Public
Art Commission (4 three-year terms), Human Relations Commission (2
three-year terms), and the Library Advisory Commission (3 three -year
terms) with all terms ending on April 30, 2017.
The 4 Public Art Commission applicants to be interviewed are as follows:
Amanda Beard Ross 6:00 p.m.
Jeanine (Savannah) Murphy 6:10 p.m.
Dara Olmsted Silverstein 6:20 p.m.
Nia Taylor 6:30 p.m.
The following 2 applicants were not available for the interview process, but
have been advised they are still eligible and can contact the Council directly.
Christine Miller Kelly
Jim Migdal
The 2 Human Relations Commission applicants to be interviewed are as
follows:
Matthew Mori 6:50 p.m.
Mehdi Alhassani 7:00 p.m.
The following applicant was not available for the inte rview process, but has
been advised she is still eligible and can contact the Council directly.

The 4 Library Advisory Commission applicants to be interviewed are as
follows:
Doug Hagan 7:10 p.m.
Alan Jerome Bennett 7:20 p.m.
Don McDougall 7:30 p.m.
June Loy 7:40 p.m.
The following applicant was not available for the interview process, but has
been advised he is still eligible and can contact the Council directly.
Jack Sweeney
Copies of all applications are attached. Some applications may be redacted
at the request of the applicant. A full set of non-redacted applications will
be emailed to Council Members directly.
The City Council is scheduled to vote to appoint candidates on Monday, April
21, 2014.
