CANCEL JULY 6 CITY COL~CIL MEETING
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the City Counci! cancel the regular meeting of July 6, 2004.
DISCUSSION
The July 4 holiday ordinarily allows a number of staff, community members and Council
Members to take an extended weekend rest. Staff recommends, therefore, that the July 6
Council meeting and July 7 Finance Committee meetings be canceled. The July 26
(fourth Monday) Council meeting will be used to conduct regular business.
RESOURCE IMPACT
The staff recommendation does not have any resource impact.
POLICY IMPLICATIONS
This recommendation is consistent with previous Council practice.
