Main Library CMR contract award to council
The combined projects have an approximate savings reserve of $9,900,000. Savings
Reserve is the Estimate for Construction less the current Projected Final Cost.
Temporary Library at Cubberley finished within budget
Downtown Library scope increased during Design Development but bids were $800,000
below the Construction estimate.
Mitchell Park Library & CC bids were approximately $8,000,000 under the construction
estimate
Main Library is still in design. Final Design estimates will be prepared when construction
documents are completed. Use the conceptual estimate until then.
Bond costs for the first issuance were significantly less than budgeted. Projected Savings
Reserve from lower projected financing costs are $1,350,000.
Savings reserve has been adjusted down for various unbudgeted expenses.
