CANCELLATION OF APRIL 5 CITY COUNCIL MEETING
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the City Council cancel the regular meeting of April 5, 2004.
BACKGROUND
During the week of April 5, there is a significant holiday honored by a number of the
staff and the community, Passover. In addition, the schools are out for spring holidays.
In prior years, it was the Council’s desire, in order to ensure that full participation of all
staff and Council Members, to cancel the regularly scheduled Council meeting.
DISCUSSION
Staff recommends that the regularly scheduled April 5 Council meeting be cancelled.
RESOURCE IMPACT
The staff recommendation does not have any resource impact.
POLICY IMPLICATIONS
This recommendation is consistent with previous Council practice.
