BLANKET ORDERS AWARDED BY THE CITY MANAGER
UNDER PALO ALTO MUNICIPAL CODE, APRIL THROUGH
JUNE 1999
This is an informational report and no Council action is required.
BACKGROUND
The Palo Alto Municipal Code (PAMC) authorizes the City Manager to award contracts
for the purchase of supplies (materials and equipment), regardless of the dollar amount.
The PAMC authorizes the City Manager to award contracts for services up to $65,000.
Quarterly reports are required for supply contracts awarded by the City Manager over
$65,000, and for service contracts awarded from $25,000 to $65,000.
DISCUSSION
The attached report lists supply contracts over $65,000 (Attachment A) and service
contracts from $25,000 to $65,000 (Attachment B) awarded from April through June
1999. Attachment C provides blanket order supply contracts over $65,000 and service
contracts from $25,000 to $65,000 awarded between April and June 1999.
