1050 ARASTRADERO ROAD, DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT
WITH STANFORD MANAGEMENT COMPANY, PUBLIC
REVIEW OF COMPLIANCE
REQUEST
Stanford Management Company, pursuant to Section 11 (f) of the Development Agreement
between Stanford Management Company and the City, is requesting that the City issue a
Certificate of Compliance that the Management Company is in compliance with the
Agreement.
RECOMMENDATIONS
Staff recommends that the City Council:
Find that Stanford Management Company has complied in good faith with the terms
and conditions of the Agreement; and
o Direct staff to issue a Certificate of Compliance to Stanford Management Company,
according to the provision of Section 11 (f) of the Agreement, stating that:
a.The Agreement remains in effect, and
b.The Management Company is not in default.

Development Agreement between The Board of Trustees of the Leland
Stanford Junior University and the City of Palo Alto dated January 6, 1994
Dear Mr. Schreiber:
Pursuant to your request, I am writing to confirm that Stanford is in conformance with the
terms of the referenced agreement. We have entered into a lease with Yamanouchi Group
Holding Inc. and have begun grading the site for construction under a grading permit. We
expect to obtain a building permit within the next sixty days. Construction is scheduled
for completion in mid-1997 with occupancy to commence shortly thereafter.
