The Council of the City of Palo Alto met on this date at 8 p.m., pursuant to adjournment of June 14, 1920, with Mayor Thoits presiding. Roll call as follows: Present: Bertsche, Blair, Cathcart, Cooley, Easterday, Jordan, Miller, Roller, Snyder, Swain, Te:-•wi1 ige r, Thoits, Absent: Peterson, Thomas, Wing. The minutes of the meeting of June 14, 1920, were read and approved as read. Offer of Land for Park. A communication was received fro7 Alfred Seale and Mabel S. Laumeister offering; to donate to tr_e city for a park Block 27, South Palo Alto. On motion of Jordan and Cooley action was deferred pending the filing; of a petition by residents near `.,',air? bloc in relation to said offer.
