Councilman wing corrected' the statement that the proposed construction would : be an expense to the city, as the city would be reimbursed for theout��ay by the rentals to be received. He said that if. the. people desired a newcity hall the Council was in har- Cony with the . idea and if a1 worked together it could be the sooner realized. Councilma,n Cooley suggested that a permanent market might well be provided in .the, industrial district. A petition containing the names of 264 persons was pre- sented urging -that the Council allow the propose. roof for the free market Ito, be built.
