A .communication was read from the League of California
Municipe.lities,: calling attention to Assembly Bill #230 and Assem-
bly Bill #231, " which would vest in the State 'Railroad Commission
certain rigb.ts now :held by .rani cipali ties, and suggesting that the
Council go on record as opposing the enactment of these bills.

On motion of; Cooley and Thoits the Attorney and Clerk were
directed to write„ to the members of the Legislature from this county
expressing the opposition of the Council to the measures in ques-
tion.

changing the regulations .affecting the single family residence zone,
finding; that no change seems desirable.

A "report was received from the Board of Public Forks on

recommending that all bids received under Resolution of .intention,

rejected; and further recommending that plans and
