The Council of the City of•Palo Alto met in regular
session on this date. At 7 3 p.m., with 'for' Cathcart presiding.

The minutes cf the meeting of :necerrnber 12, 1921, were
reed and approved as read.
3n Auto Camp Approved
A report was: received from; the Board of Public ::corks,•'
recommending t....t the automobile .camp - at Runnymede be not taken
over by the city.
On motion of Cooley, and 3aaterday the report was ap
proved.

A report 'was received from Committee #1,; recommending
(? ) that .proceedings to wave gh' Street between channiz7IF a.xsd
Addison Avenueswhere'"not. already ved be instituted; amd (2)
that the extension of a gas ban to. Weeks poultry Ranch be re-
ferred to the Budget committee -far `consideration in the 1922'
1923 Budget.
Om Notion the :seeoud '.recommendat lon was approved, the
first recommendation being deferred for action later in the
meeting.

A retort was .reeeived from CoMmittee #2, recommending
(1) that an ordinance submitted by the oonmmittee regulating
parking of vehicles' in the business district be passed; and (2) -
that no change be made' in the license fixed for the Oakland
Towel Supply 'Co.
Action on the first- recommendation was deterred.
In the matter of .the .seeond .reeommendation, Cooley and '
Bertsche moved that the :Health Offief.ar; make a trip to Oakland
to investigate the- local. Inspection: made of the plant of said
Towel Supply Co. and .that` the necessary expense be authorized.
The motion was passed by unanimous vote on roll call.
Resolution of . Intention `(#1, -1922) Passed.
Resolution of Intention So. 1, -1922, approved and
recommended to the' Council for; adoption. by the Board of Public
;corks, was read, and on motion of Wine, seconded by Lausten,
,.as passed by unanim u.s. vote on rell eall.6
Said Resolution relates: to the paving of Eigh Street
in Block A, and fixes the. date of hearing ,for"- February 1.3, 1922.
At this time Oountil man Jordan took his seat.

The City Attorney ,made a report in the matter of the pro-
posed annexation' of territory near the creek' between Jame. and the
State H,1 rhway.. The matter was re -referred to the special commit-
tee (Cooley, .Thoits and Wing) for; early report.

On motion of T.00its and Jordan an appropriation of $350
was made" from the Budget incidental fund for painting
the streets . and creeds lines on
g signs to regulate the parking of v vehicles
in the business district, by unanimous vote on roll call.

On motion At 'Ming and Mtendenhall the Board of Public
Works was requested to report on the feasibility of establishing
an autosxob,,1e camp within the city limits, itslocation and cost.
