Report on ' vin r Bids;
A report- was received from the Board of Public Works on
bids for paving in Creacent Park Under Resolution of Intention #2,
1925,. together with a tabulation of bids opened and publicly de-.
cured on October 8, .19*S,: ree;a Amending that the contract for said
work be awarded to , 'er ;oll, & 3ettini-,. as being the lowest and
best bidder. On motion the, report was .approved.
Award of Contract: Passed.:
A resolution,,: entitled Resolution of Award: Streets
in Crescent Park", was :read and' on motion of Wing and Terwilliger
was passed by unanimozis vote on roll call. Saidresolution
awards the contract f.r street improvements under Resolution of

was read Said statement gives a detailed review and tabulatioa
of the receipts and expenditures of the Municipal Paving Plant
from. April, 1920 to July 2., 1923. Said statement was ordered
filed.

& written report was received from Committee ft, relative
to'auditipg the City's books. Proposals were attached from
McLaren, ' Goode 3: Company ; and Me.rwick Mitchell Compare stating the
price for which they would install osrtain..changes in the book-
keeping system- and ce a quarterly audit ' of the books. The
Committee : reCommended that the proposal of the . Marwiok itched
Company 'bee�aa000pted at the prime of "§75O.O0 for the year.
On'motion or Wing and Williams the recommendation was
approved by :unanimous vote On roll call.
Repot 'Committee Swimmin .Pool Rates.
Committee #2 submitted a report , approving the recom-
mendation of the Board of Public Safety that the petition asking
that a class: from the ' tie. S. 'Veterans' Hospital be given free use
of the swimming pool for .one: hour on two mornings in the week, and
that the petition -that children from Ravenswood and Runnymede be
granted free passes for the use of the pool be denied._
On motion, of Wing and Mendenhall the recommendation a:
to :the :ola8s from the Veterans' Hospital was approved, and the
matter` of ;-ranting free passes tor' all , children wader 15 years of
age within- a given distance' of the pool was referred. back to
