The Council of the City of Palo Alto met in, regular
session on this date at 8 p.m with Mayor Cathcart presiding.

was the opening of bids; received for $40,;000 of the issue of

On motion ._of Cooley, seconded by Thoits, the bid of
R. R. Moulton and Company: was accepted and the sale of the
$40,000 bonds to. said company was authorized by unanimous vote
roll can.

On motion of Cooley and ' Sertsche the Qty Clerk was in-'
streeted to return to the unsuccessful bidders the certified checks
accompanying their bias.
