The Council;- of the City of Palo Alto met in regular
session on this date at 7:30 p. 'm, with Mayor Cathcart presiding. Roll call as follows

approved as read.
Petition (Townsend liouae) .Referred.
A`petition was received From residents in Block 1
protesting, against the removal of the Townsend house to said block.
A further petition( was "reoei'ved requesting that regulations
relating to the removal of oldbuildings be adopted,. Attorney
