A petition was received signed by 19 doctors of medicine..of the: city asking that a bond issue be made of 100,000 for the purpose of making the Palo Alto Hospital adequate for the demands upon it. By motion of Cathcart rd Bertsche, this was referred to Committees Ilia. 1 and 4 for in- vestigation and consideration. Letter from Adjutant General A communication was received from the Adjutant General of. the State offering a gift of certain weapons captured from the enemy during the late war.
