Ordinance (Use Districts)
An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 280 of the City
of Palo Alto relating to Use Districts was considered., and also
two protests from citizens. By motion .of Cathcart and. Duveneck
the ordinance with the protest against char i residential to
light' industrial district in South a10 Alto was referred to
the Planning Commission . for a hearing,
The second protest concerning fire limits was
referred to. Committee ." o. 2, and the Board of Public Safety by
motion of 7iing and Hobart, with the direction the.t no permits
be issued for frame buildings in this district until a decision
is made.

A letter from the Secretary of the Foresters of
