Roll call as follows: Present. Bertsche, Bonn, Cathcart, Cooley, Duveneck, asterday, Robart, Jordan, :telly, Lausten, Thoits, Thomas, Wing. Absent. Cottrell, Food. The minutes of the meetings of Larch 8, 22 and d 29 1926, were read and approved. ' Pecuest of _ L:xbrary Board A :letter was read from the Library Board recuesti Yg that they be grafted the use of t ,e old City :dai1 in the :4ayfield District for library purposes in order to establish a brancc* library at Mayfield. On motion of Thoits and Cathcart, the Liorary Board was granted space in the former Mayfield City Eall for library purposes. Le meter from V. A. Randall • A letter was read from V. A. Randall stating that it is desired to use the former Mayfield ield City Rail for a branch Bost Office. As disposition has already been made of this property, the..letter was received and placed on file, and the Clerk was directed to notify Mr. Randall to this effect. .Letter from Parent -j e cher, A letter was received from the :ecreation Comte it';€,e of the .Parent -Teachers Association requesting that the city co-operate with the school board to open up playgrounds for children. Social Cl 'e A letter 'from the Ravenswood Social Ciub requesting water supply and gas• service for the avenswood District was read, and on motion of Wing and Cooley was referred to the City Engineer and Board of 'ublic Works. To 2repare for Bond Issue On motion of Wing and Oat cart, the Boarc. of Public Works was requested to prepare plans, specifications and estimates of cost for a bond issue for additional space for city offices, a new jail and quarters for the /ire Department.
