M., pursuant to adjournment of June I3, 1927, with Mayor Hobart; presiding. Roll call as follows Present Bertsche, Bonn, Cottrell, Duveneck, :Easter, day, Hobart, Jordan, Kelly, Lausten, Thoits, Thomas, Wing. Absent: Cathcart, Cooley, Wood. .The Clerkreported that copies of the minutes of the meeting of June, 13 1927, had been sent to each member of the Council. -It was directed that, on page 98 of the minutes under the :heading "Appropriation to Health Dept. for Car", the word."Chevrolet" be left out. With this correction, on :notion of Bertsche and Lausten, the minutes were approved. Crady for permission to add four feet to the width of her garage at 10)1. Ramona Street be not granted, as the improvements on the lot alreadycover.more than 35 percent of the area of the lots. On motion of : Ving and Mrs. Duveneck, this report, was approved. A report:was received from the Planning, Commission recommending -that Changes in setback lines be made as follows 1. 'That .the. `setback line on the property of J. W. Martinie at the .corner of Tasso Street and Hawthorne Avenue in Block 34 be changed on Hawthorne Avenue from 24 feet to 18 -feet. 2. That the setback line on the property of F. R. Mills and R. H. Heald be changed --on the,northeast side" of Tasso Street between Palo -Alto Avenue and .Ruthven Avenue in Block 34 from 16 feet to 11.feet. 3._That the setback line on the property of Mrs. F.:' .. Hunt' on the sc utheasterly corner .of Coleridge and Bryant in Block 19, South Palo Alto, be changed on Coleridge from 33 to 30 feet. 0n motion of Wing aid Cottrell, it : as directed that a hearingbe held .on this matter at the regular meeting 'on July 11, 1927, the Clerk to publish the necessary notices in the Palo ..Alto Times..
