Cuthbertsonconcerning> the 30 -foot strip of land at the corner of Cambridge Avenue. and El Camino Real, which he deeded to the ;t Town of .ayfiel. . stn. 1923, this deed having recently been located and recorded .by t"he. Shoup represent zig- t�.e Peninsular Railway Company;_ requesting the approval of the Council of an application for: renewal of permit to operate the busses in the City of Palo .1 Ito for ;another year from September 28 1928. 0n motion "o f Eo bart and Berts che, it was directed that- it be the sense of the Council that the present arrangement relative. to operation of the busses be continued, for. another year and that the proper application' be made before; the Railroad Commission for this purpose, and also that the City Attorney be requested to_ prepare the necessary papers. Report of ;Auditors The report of Skinner .,and Hammond, special auditors,; for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1928, was "presented, and referred to the Auditing Committee, Auditor and Officer Manager for publication. Hearings Set fa M g. 29th It was announced that the Mayor had appointed 'Y ednesday, :zgust 29, 1928, at. 8 p. m. as the trce for a hearing on the petition to repeal. the ordinance. prohibiting the building on more than 50, of the lot# area of ilets located in the third residential zone.
