the City Clerk who stated that the election of a Mayor was in

On mottion of Hoge andp Christensen, Councilmen Jordan
and. YYat s1er YVe e, appointed tellers s
Election of Mayor
.On the 'first ballot, Hobart received. :9 votes, Cottrell
2 votes :and Bona 1 vote'. Mr. Hobart thanked; the Council for
the r: -election. and for the courtesy he had received curing his
two terms as Mayor, .but declined to accept the appointment.
I', second. ballot was taken with the, following result:

On the. third ballot Bonn received. 8 votes, Kelly 2
votes, and ;Thoits._and Jordan 1 vote each. A:"r Bonn also

Apccintment of Officials
The Council proceeded to the appointment of officials
or the ensuing year. Jordan and Whisler acted as tellers
The following city officials were reappointed by unanimous vote
of the Council.

with the reception committee appointed for Stanford University
