Appr tal of Assessments This was the- time for the continuation of the r.earine on the assessments . for the improvement of 14'orest Court, Ashby :Avenue and reenwood Avenue H report was received from Committee No. 1 re�corner:ainC that the assessments as modified and cosrected be approves;. The revised assessment was explained by Arthur James, deputy engineer, who'stated that by the modification Trade in the assessment the:',City is to bear the cost of the curb around the park in Forest Court plus.. the ` having of two and ore -half feet of r,sv n around. the, park thus reducing the assessment proportionately on : the property on Forest .Court between Aoycc Avenue and Ashby Avenue. aFe�ver:al_aroperty owners addressed the Counci sin connection: with , this matter, including; Mrs. ;parry Black:,, ,:r.
