The City attorney then read a detailed report helve:. prepared relating to the present status of the natural gas rate case' now before the ?railroad Commission arid:: the application of the City oaf Palo Alto for a reduction in the wholesale rate for gas. The Attorney explained the importance of employing ?n expert to assist him and the engineers of the City in the Presentation. of this case. He stated that in his opinion the City of Palo Alto should not bear this expense alone, that the facts should be presented to other towns and communities interested in this ease, and their cooperation end assistance revestec.. . letter was read ac;.dressed to the: City Attorney from Yr.'
