Mayor Christensen presiding. Roll call as follows: Present Bertsehe, Christensen, Collins, Johnson, Judsor. e1.1y-, Mitchell, Stephens, Thoits. Alterations of :laxterior:', Referring : to the matter of amending the ordinance relating to :iterations, of exterior walls, as requested by the Bank:'of .America, Coxnmittee No. I reported that it has considered. this :matter" at length. but requested more time before ranking a recommendation.. Dr. R. B. Reynolds, chai:we: of the Mayor's committee for the relief of local. unempioyeent, addressed the <Council concerning the work, being done,the mtber of men employed, and other matters in connection. with 'this Matter, and stated that there were sufficient funds at p:ese to carry on this work until, the next meeting of the Council o: Janciaryllth, and that it was planned: -to have a public cam ai for funds about ::January~ 10, 1932. March, 1932, oe waived., onnonditior that Mr. Be1lman 'keep the pro.pertg . in good conditions On motion of :Mitchell' and Judson, this recommendation was adobted by unanimous vote on roll -c aal in front of Post Office A report was received from :the Board of Works approving the plan for the widening and paving of Hamilton Avenue and Wa:ver1ey Street in front of the proposed new PostOffice, "and: recommending " the City pay 4800.00 of the necessary cost.. A report vas also received from Committee No. n 4 � this rnatter` recommending that the Council appropriate the slain, of 4800.00 from. the Contingent Fund for this purpose.
