jai=an of the Foard of Publi� Safety for several years. On motion
3ertsc- e and Kelly, the Council directed that a committee be
,-en-inted. to draft a su t abl6 resolution in honor. o2.0 .r Seale and
appreciation of the work he has done ""for, the City.

Hearing (Street Paving) .
This was the time " for ..`a hearing on Resolution of
.rte t_o' ,:o 962 for the paving of certain streets. A letter
received. from Mrs. Thomas Grady objecting to the paving of
-2in,cton Street this year. A communication Was read from L.
ste, stating, that he had no objections to the paving of Sherman
-rs t but that he desired to pay cash. The City Attorney explained
t eider the 1911 Act cash payments may be made_ when the work is
:one. if desired. No other protests ; were .received and there was
2.0 one oresen ho wished to speak on the matter, and the hearing

Further Committee No. 4 recommended that the new
hospital be relieved of bond. charges, due on the hospital bonus
1921 until the amount of $21,000 be redeemed.
On motion of Thomas and Ii.tche11, the bid of Crisco:
and Xilner of $21,00 for the old hospital site uias rejected.
The last paragraph of the report concerning he
redemption of bond charges on the hospital bonds of 1921 was
