A communication was received from the Chamber of Commerce: recommending that a sign be placed at the ir_tersecti n of the Bayshore Highway ; and Embarcadero Road, routing traffic down Embarcadero Road to El Camino Real, and that rubber "stop° signs be placed.in the center of streets entering Embarcadero Road friottl,Middlefield: Road to Alma Street; also recommending that through traffic from the Bayshore Highway entering Unlversi Avenue be diverted: at Lincoln Avenue and routed on Lincoln to Mid ilef:i`e d., thence to Embarcadero Road and via Embarcadero-Road to El Camino Real; also recommending: that the Board of Public be empowered to .make frequent inspections of all corners havlrg hedges, :overhanging branches, etc., and take notion as proviaec the ordinances to remove this hazard.
