On the first ;ballot, : Christensen received 7 votes, Judson 2 votes,. T.homas,:3 -votes .and. Cathcart 1 vote. As no one had received a. majority the ballots *ere prepared again. Councilman Christensen addressed the Council at this time, expressing his`, appreciation;:.for the votes received and asking that his name. be ,:not considered in further balloting.
