Claim of Rose - Tancred for Damaues A claim was presented by hose Tancred, guardian of Sidney Rose Wall, a minor, in the amount of .,750.10, on account of injuries to said minor on April 16, 1937, when an arteriai traffic sign fell axed struck Tier as she was standing on the corner of Everett Avenue and Alma Street. Attention was directed to certain expenditure items, incuding salary Increases, which nave been requested but not included in the tentative budget. The committee aavised that the increased cost of operating the new tsnimal Shelter might be offset by reconsidering t'. e Council's action of June b, l. 36, pronibiting t he boarding of animals.
