A report vas submitted by Committee No. 5 recommending
that a refund of $1.10,' be granted , to. Jean: B. C auca on lot
clean `charges " for the..year 1937 incorrectly charged against
his pro irty. On ;motion of Mitchell and' Richards, this
report,.was approved and the refund authorized, by unanimous
vote on ;:roll:.. call.

A report was received from Corsaittee .No. 5 recommend -
at ` the claim. of Leslie Bringino for $105.00 for damages
to his automobile, as result of a collision with the motorcycle
of :`Police Officer Layne, be paid, and that the City Auditor
bill rthe, insurance company for .$5.00, as the City/ s insurance
policy,,carries a $100.00 deductible clause.
The ` City Attorney advised that the claim has been
reduced to $100.00 - and that Mr. Bringlno is willing to settle
for that amount. `: On motion of Mitchell and Giffin, the
recommendation' of Committee No. 5 was approved and the payment
of the claim-' authorized, by unanimous vote on roll call.

the Mayor' and City Clerk be authorized to execute this agreement

TheCity Attorney explained that in approving this

:. Division of "Highways, the Southern Pacific Company, the Bureau

would be po3sibl.e ..to change details later if desirable.
