the Council that ` tie . coxn*rittee favor: the establishment of a
retirement sy3tem to cover :all..-irunicipai employees, and for this
reason recommends the establishment - of the 'proposed retirement
system for 'policerier and firemen ,as recommended by the Board of
Safety. On motionor 4Mttchell' and'Blois, this report. vas
referred to Committee No. 4 .which. has th.e matter of a. rfetiremer;.t
system for city -employees under -consideration.
Gas Plant: Production Fund
A report was received .from- the Board of Public Works
riecoru- end.irir- that 'the Cow cll .set 'aside the suzl of $14j000.00
In a special fund.to .befknown. as the Gas Plant Production Fund,
and that this jteM 'be ..deleted ..from the 1940-41 budget.

the committee was ofthe'opinion that it would be advisable to

the Board of Works was adopted.

.After.further discussion, the motion to adopt the
