A report was received from- the Board of Public Works approving ,this agreement and recommending it to the Council for approval and execution., Resolution No. 1276, approving the First Supplenexitai Memorandum of Agreement and authorizing its execution by the Mayon' and 'City Clerk, was read, and on motion of Thomas and Mitchell, vas : adopted by unanimous vote on roil call. Agreement with Pacific Gas & Electric Co. to Use Poles The Council also considered an agreement vith the Pacific Gas and Electric Company permitting the City to use certain poles of said company for the purpose of ma staining the',traffic signals to be installed at El Camino Real and Ei barcaderca Road. Meeting of Peninsula Division The Council was informed that the next meeting of the Peninsula Division of the: League of California Cities will be held in Palo Alto on Thursday,' May 16th, at 6:30 P.M., at the Community Center. Beer License A notice was received from the State Board of Equalization of the decision on protestmade by the Council against the issuance : of a beer license to the Texas Restaurant,. informing the Council that the : Board has acted upon the protest by ordering that the application for said license be: denied. Dixon Proper • The City Attorney announced that he had prepared a resume in regard to the; acquisition of the Dixon property and the conditions.:attached-to : the gift, and would furnish a copy to each council :;7:aember.` On motion of Thomas and Hoy, the Council adjourned.
