The minutes of the meeting of March l.0, 1.941 , were Results ..of:,:::Election This was the time for the canvass .of the returns of the special municipal election held on March 25, 19`1, on:: the ordinance passed by the Couricll on January 13th, extending the Business District, Zone D-?, on University Avenues from' Cowper Street to Middlefield' Road Councilmen Cypher-,- Hoy and Goddard were appointed tellers. Aft r.., canvassing the returns filed by_ the .election boards acid .co thting the. 66 absentee ballots which were cast, the tellers. -rep rated that the total vote cast at this election was 372%, i.nciuding 66 absentee ballots, that of the total number, of :votes cast there were 782 votes for the ordinance and'.2946 votes against the ordinance. ,Resolution' No. 1314, ` de.lartig the result of the special,election, was read, and on .,lotion of Cypher and Hoy, was adopted .by- :unanimous vote on roli call.
