Mayor Woodward presiding. Present Arbuckle, Arnold, Beaters, B ,bee, Comstock, Cooley, Debs, Dias, Flint (7:35 p.m.), Rodgers, Rohrs, Rus, Woodward, Zweng (7:33 p.m.). Absent: Porter. Mayor Woodward welcomed the ninth grade students from Terman Junior High School who were attending the Council meeting. Microfilming .Contract with' Santa Clara ounty. 'Assistant City Manager Morgan reviewed the terns of the contract which ;the City has with Santa, Clara County for microfilming service covering real property sales transactions, and noted that, while the ontract had expired on June 30, 1964, the County had continued to provide the service; that the annual cost is $1,800; and that the Staff recommended the contract be renewed. Councilman' Rodgers moved, and it was duly seconded and carried unanimously, that the Council' renew the contract with Santa Clara County -for microfilming service and that the Mayor be authorized to execute it, Project No. 64-1 - E1. Ca:n•ino Real Widening The Assistant City Manager reviewed the proposed agreement with the State Division of. Highways for the widening and improvement of El Camino Real from' Matadero Creek to the southerly limits of the City. Attention was.directed to the conditions req uested by may the Sta.t:, in Section V axial by-the.Cty staff in Section VIII. The background and present status,. of the project Nas reviewed and approval of the agreement as amended was recommended. After discussion, Councilman Dias moved that the Council approve the agreement with.the State Division o; Highways and authorize the Mayor to execute. it.
