CONFIRM!~~ AMENDED ASSESSMENT

RESOLVED, by the City Counc11 of the Ci~y of Palo Alto~
Sa~ta Clar.a County, California,, that
WHEREAS, aald City Council did on the 28th day o~
N'ovember~ 1949, order the City Engineer to make and t'ile with
said Council amended assessment of all parcels or property the
former assessments upon which under Resolution of Intent1.on No.
1833 of $a1d Council are designa·ted upon the original assessment
and diagram and ccri.f:1.rmed by aaid Co:.mcil on April 12, 1949, and
recorded in the office of the Supemtendent or Streets of sa:1.d
City, as diagram and assessment number 286;
WHEREAS, said City Engineer did on the 28th day of
November, 29i~9, pursuant to said order, file with the Clerk or
said City n diagram and amended assessment;
WHEREAS, said Council fixed Monday, the 12th or
December, 1949, ns the t1ine for hearing said amended assessments
and cuused notice of said hearing to be publiehed twice in the
Palo Alto Times, as appears from the affidavit of publication
on file in the office of the Cl€rk of said City; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said hearing,
no protests or objections were made or pr~aented to the proposed
amended nssesament, and all matters and things pertaining to
said amended assesement were fully heard and considered by said
Ci'ty Council;

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that ea1d amended assessment
filed with the Clerk or said City puraua.n·c to Resolution ordering
same, be, and the same 1s hereby.;at1f1ed, approved and confirmed.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that the Clerk Of said City shall
deliver said amended assessment to the City Engineer, together
with certified copy or this resolution thereto attached, and
said City Engineer shall thereupon record such amended assessments
with a certificate at the end thereof by the Clerk or sald City
that it 1s the amended assessment approved by the City Council.
The City Engineer shall note opposite the several aaoesa
ments in said original diagram and assessment numb~r 286 that
they have been displaced by said amended assessment, biv1ng 1ta
date, and shall credit upon such amended assessment all payments
theretofore made upon the original assessment. When eaid
amended assessments have been recorded, the City Engineer shall
cause the original assessments involved to be cancelled.
