CONFIRMING AMENDED ASSESSMENT

RESOLVF:D, by the City Council of the City of Palo Alto,
Santa Clara County, Ca11forn1a, that
WHEREAS, said City Council did or1 the 14th day of
November, 1949, order the City Engineer to make and file with
s~id Council amended aaseasments of all parcels of property
the former assessments upon which under Resolution of Inten
tton No. 1516 of said Council are designated upon the orig.tnA.1
assessment and diagram and confirmed by said Council on January
13. 1947, and recorded in the office of the Superintendent of
Jtreets of said City, as diagram and assessment numbers 197 and
752 .:
WHEREAS .• said C:l.ty En12;1neer did on the 14th day of
November, 1949, pursuant to said order, file with t~e Clerk of
s~id City a d1agr~m and amended assessment;
WHEREAS, sa:td Counc11 fixed Monday, the 12th dt1y of
December, 1949, at the time for hearing said amended assessments
Rnd caused notice of said hearing to be published in the Palo
Alto Times, as appears .from the affidavits of publication on
file in the office of the Clerk of said City; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said hearing,
no protests or objections were made or presented to the proposed
emended asaesement, and all matters and things pertaining to
said amended assessments were fully heard and considered by said
City council;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS onnERED that said amended assess
mentA filed with the Clerk of said C1ty pursuant to Resolution
ordering same, be, and the s~me ts hereby, ratified, approved
and confirmed.
IT IS FURTHETI ORDERED, ~hnt the Clerk of said City ehall
deliver said amended asseasments to the City Engineer, to~ether
with certified copy or this resolution thereto attached, nnd
~aid City Engineer shall thereupon record such amended assess
ments with a certificate at the end thereof by the Clerk of said
City that it is the amended assessments approved by the City
co~mcil.
The City Engineer shall note opposite the several assess
ments 1n said original diagram and assessment numbers 197 and
752 that they riave been displaced by sa1.d amended assessments,
~iv1ng its date, and shall credit upon such amended assessments
all payments theretofore made upon the original assessment.
When said amended assess~ents have been recorded, the City
Eng:tneer shall cause the original assessments involved to be
· ca nee l led.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution w.').s duly
and regularl~r adopted by the City Counc11 of the Cj. ty of Palo
Alto, Callforn!a, at a regular meeting thereof held on the 12th
day of December .• 1949, by the following vote:
