' ..... ~ .... , .... , ..... p .,,~ .. ,,.._ --.. ~ ·~ R E S 0 L U T I 0 N ----· ------N 0 • 1925 DETERMINING TO MAKE ACQUISITIONS WITHOUT COM­ PLIANCE WITH INVESTIGATION ACT PROJECT NO. 49-11 HAMILTON AVENUE, ET AL RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of' Palo Alto, California, that WHEREAS, on November 14, 1949, this Council adopted its Resolution of Preliminary Deter:n1nation No. 1921 to make certain acqu1~1tion~ more particularly therein described and did fix therein thie date as the time and place when and where any and ~-tl l persons interested may appear nnd show cause, if any they have, why the City Council should not find and determine thot the p·ub11c convenlence and necessity r(~quire the acquis1 tions describ­ ed and referred to in said resolution, without compliance with the Special Assessment Investigation .. 11..rr.1 tation and Majority Protest Act of 1931; WHEREAS, notice of the adoption of said preliminary resolu­ tion and of said time and place of hearing was given by the City Clerk by publication and posting for the time and in the manner provided in said Resolution of Preliminary Determination and Article I of the Palo Alto Improvement Procedure Code, as appears from affidavits on file with the City Clerk; WHEREAS, no written objections to the undertaking of said proceedings without first complying with the provisions of said Investigation Act have been filed with the City Clerk at or before the time fixed for this hearing by persons interest­ ed, owning or having an interest in real property within the proposed assessment di~tr1ct, bearing their signatures, a descrip­ tion of their property, and a statement of the nature of their interest therein; and WHEREAS, all persons interested have been given an oppor­ tunity to be and were fully heard, and said Council has duly ~on­ s1dered any and all objections and protests made; and the said proposed acquisitions, Rnd the public convenience and necessity for making same; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS FOUND, DETERMINED and. ORDERED, as follows: 1. That the public convenience and necessity require the ::tcqu1slt1ons described in ::iaid Resolution of Pre11m1naa-y Determination. 2. T·nat any and r.tll 'objections and protest::; made p1;.rsuant to said Resolution of Preliminar:y· Determination be, and the same ar~ hereby, overruled and denied. 3.
