HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESO 1922--·--. -~ ' . t R E S 0 L U T I 0 N ------··------N 0 • 1Q22 RESOLUTION FAVORING A STUDY OF GRADE SEPARATICN LEGISLATION The Council of the City of Palo Alto DO RESOLVE as foJlows: WHEREAS, there have been several deaths and injur:tes 1n the City of Palo Alto at rn!lroad crossings; and WHE.REAS, there is an immediate and urgent need for railroad grade crossing separations and for new legislation to place specific responsibility for the payment of the cost thereof; The City Coun~il o1' the City of Palo Al to RESOLVES that it favors a study of railroad grade separation legisla­ tion be instituted immediately. 'l'he above and foregoirig resolution was duly and regular­ ly introduced and passed at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of Palo Alto held on Monday, the 14th dri.y of November, 1949, by the following vote: AYES: NOES: ABSEN'r: ATTEST: Bcntrott, Blois, Bolander, Bollden, Cashel, Cathcart Freedman, Gaspar, Linder, Merner, Mitchell, Montreuil, Morten, Wickett. .None.
