HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESO 1916• • f t 'I ''t•-'1,•1~ •'I•~•·.,...,. .... ,,.,.., ........ , .. ,.,., 280 R E S 0 L U T I 0 N ----------N 0 • 1916 DIRECTING MAY.ING OF AMENDED ASSESSMENT ASSESSMENT NO. 197 COWPER STREET, ET AL PROJECT NO. 46-4 RESOLVED, By the City Council of the City of Palo Alto, Santa Clara County, Cal1fornta, that WHEREAS, an as9essment nnd diagram was made and filed with the Clerk of said City all pursuant to Resolution of Inten­ tion No. 1516 adopt~d by the City Council en June 10, 1946, and the provisions of Art:tcJ.e V of' the Palo Alto Improvement Pro­ cedure Code, being Ordinance No. 844 of said City, adoptec January 13, 1941, .:md said ansessment was confirmed by said Council on January 13, 1947, and recorded in the office of the Superintendent of Streets or said City on January 14, 1947; and WHEREAS, a certain lot or parcel of land upon which there is an unpaid assessment against which bonds have been issued under the prov131ons of Part 4 of Article rJ of said Procedure Code, ha3 been d1.vided so that it no longer conforme to the or1g5.nal parcel bo1.mdar1es ns shown on said asseasment and in the Audi tor's record thereof; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, that 1. ThP City Engineer shall cause to be prepared and filed w:tth the City Clerk a report and amend~d assessment and diagram of the lot and parcel so divided, said parcels being designated as As3e3sment No. 197. 2. That the unpaid installments of sai.d original assessment shall be segregated and apportioned in accordance with the benefits to the several parts of the original lot or parcel and the total amount of the as~ensments or the several portions of the original lot or parcel shall be equal to the unpaid assessment upon sa1d or1g1nal lot or parcel of land. * * * * * * I hereby certify ·chat the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly adopted by the City Council of the C1ty of Palo Alto, California at a meeting thereof held on the 14th day of November, 1949, by the following vote: AY"ES, and in favor thereof, Councilmen: Bentrott, Blols, Bolander, Bowden, Cashel, Cathcart, Freedman, Gaspar, Linder, Merner, M:1tchell, Montreuil, Morten, Wickett.
